As many in the NBA community had speculated on over the past few days, Friday’s Mavericks at Rockets game in Houston has been postponed due to a government shutdown of the Toyota Center in the wake of severe weather conditions across the region. The NBA has since confirmed his initial report. Per the NBA, the game will be rescheduled at a later date.
This postponement comes after the state of Texas has been experiencing a severe winter storm that has led to massive power outages throughout the state. Houston is currently still scheduled to host the Indiana Pacers at the Toyota Center on Saturday.
