NBA Playoffs: Who is the Finals MVP so far?

Who is the NBA Finals MVP so far? It’s not Kawhi Leonard (though he would be if the Raptors were up 2-0), and it’s not Steph Curry. Let’s review the leading candidates:

I’ll start with the Warriors’ doctors, who helped Curry come alive in Game 2 despite dehydration, and who got DeMarcus Cousins to return from injury in time to be an NBA Finals factor.

How about Fred VanVleet? He’s become a dangerous and consistent second scoring option for the Raptors.

I’ll throw in a vote for the middle school box-and-1 defense that stymied the Warriors for a stretch.

But the real MVP? It’s got to be Draymond Green, who is averaging nearly a triple-double in the Finals. The heart and soul of the franchise is doing it all when it counts the most.
