Thursday is setting up to be another monumental day for the NBA as the league’s players, as well as the league’s owners, will have separate meetings on Thursday to discuss next steps after the players chose to strike for all of Wednesday’s schedule playoff games.
According to NBA TV’s Stephanie Ready, none of the games scheduled for Thursday, the Game 6 between the Nuggets and Jazz, as well as the Game 1 of the Raptors-Celtics second series, will be played today. With the separate factions meeting today, we may hear some more details about what’s needed to be done for the league to continue playing, or whether the players will strike for the remainder of the season. The meeting with the players had already started as of 11 a.m. this morning, according to Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks.

Reports from last night suggested that the Clippers and Lakers said they did not want to play before LeBron James left the meeting. But several key members of the Lakers were up late last night working through potential next steps for the Blazers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
