NBA investigating Rockets Danuel House for bubble misconduct

The Houston Rockets were without a key player in their Game 3 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and there is a very serious possibility they could be without him for however much longer their series goes against LeBron James and co.

Rockets forward Danuel House missed Game 3 due to “non-COVID related” personnel reasons and late on Wednesday, it was reported by multiple outlets that the league was investigating what House did. According to reporting from Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, House is allegedly under investigation for inviting a female testing official into his hotel room, which something that is strictly not allowed by the NBA protocols. Having people in one’s room who are not a wife, significant other or some other type of approved guest is against the bubble protocol.

House is reportedly denying any wrongdoing and is hoping to play in tonight’s Game 4 against the Lakers. As of the first injury report posted by the NBA on Thursday morning, House is still considered out for tonight’s crucial Game 4 as the Rockets look to avoid going down 3-1.
