NBA fines Milwaukee Bucks co-owner $25K for tampering over Davis comments

Now at least Klutch Sports and the Los Angeles Lakers can see that other people can get fined for tampering.

Only a day after Lakers boss Magic Johnson potentially got themselves in tampering waters once again, the NBA came down on another franchise that they believe violated the league’s tampering rules. According to ESPN’s Malika Andrews, the NBA has fined Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry for public comments about Anthony Davis.

Lasry’s comments about Davis were in reference to a report last week that Davis had the Bucks on his short list of preferred teams with which he would sign a long-term extension.
