NBA fans took so much joy in roasting the struggling Warriors

You can’t really blame NBA fans. The Golden State Warriors had dominated the NBA for the past five seasons and added Kevin freaking Durant to an already-title contending roster a few seasons ago.

So, when Durant left for Brooklyn this offseason and Klay Thompson suffered an ACL injury, the Warriors — despite their insistence otherwise — finally looked vulnerable.

Well, the early returns aren’t going great for the Warriors. After allowing 141 points in a 19-point loss to the Clippers in the opener, the Warriors followed up that dud with a 120-92 loss to the Thunder on Sunday.

Again, it’s early. It’s only been two games. But this much is clear: The Warriors can’t defend anyone, and NBA fans are absolutely loving this early failure.

You can tell that NBA Twitter had been waiting years for this because the material was certainly top notch. Seriously, great job.
