NBA fans had lots of jokes about Kawhi Leonard’s mask

The last time we saw Kawhi Leonard on a basketball court he was literally on the basketball court with lots of blood gushing from his mouth after he collided with teammate Serge Ibaka.

It was a scary scene for the Clippers star, who needed eight stitches to close up the laceration and missed two games because of the injury that he suffered in the Christmas Day game against the Nuggets.

Well, Leonard returned to action Wednesday night at home against the Portland Trail Blazers and he did so wearing a new mask to protect his face from more harm.

Leonard’s health and safety of course the main things here but we can still have some fun with his mask, which many NBA fans did:
