We knew the drama was going to come at some point this season for the Lakers. I mean, they are the Lakers, after all. This is what comes with the territory.
But…in game 2? Of 82? I don’t know if anyone saw it coming quite this soon.
But alas. It’s here. And it came in the form of Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard getting into a little scuffle on the Lakers’ bench.
It looked like there was something said between the two. Howard stood up out of his seat and things escalated a bit. Then Davis pushed him back down and a crowd of Lakers surrounding Howard so he didn’t react to Davis again.
It was an absolute mess.

This was…concerning. Two teammates getting into a shoving match in the middle of a game? While they’re getting blown out? That’s never a good sign.
But y’all know how it goes on NBA Twitter. Whenever there is some drama, people are going to make jokes. And that’s exactly what they did with this.
Folks made the connection of Dwight Howard not making the NBA’s Greatest 75 players list while Anthony Davis is actually on it. You see where this is going by now.
