NBA fans can’t wait to see which players have been lying about their heights

If you’re an NBA player hiding your real, true height, the jig is up.

The New York Times’ Marc Stein  reported on Thursday that “NBA teams were notified this week that they must certify and submit the precise height and age for every player within the first week of training camp,” adding that players have been fudging their heights for a long time.

Take Kevin Durant, who once told the Wall Street Journal, “For me, when I’m talking to women, I’m 7 feet. In basketball circles, I’m 6-9.”

Jokes aside, he added that he doesn’t want to be thought of as a power forward. And funny enough, there were a lot of jokes made about Durant — who’s probably 7 feet tall — after the report dropped:
