NBA fans are roasting Lonzo Ball’s old tweet about the Lakers missing the playoffs

The Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff hopes are officially on life support. Monday’s loss to the Clippers dropped the Lakers to 5.5 games out of the final playoff spot in the West with 18 games to play.

It’s not looking good for any of the Lakers players … or their Twitter mentions.

Lonzo Ball hasn’t been in the Lakers lineup since Jan. 19, but following Monday’s loss, fans still dove into his Twitter archives and uncovered this gem from 2013.

At the time, Lonzo tweeted (with a smiley emoji), “Lakers ain’t even makin the Playoffs.” The context didn’t matter because the tweet likely remains accurate to this day, and NBA fans took pleasure in pointing that out on Tuesday.
