NBA, ESPN planning H-O-R-S-E event with star players over conference call

The NBA is planning a virtual game of H-O-R-S-E where star players shoot at home, according to ESPN, which would televise it. The league has been shut down since March 11 because of the coronavirus pandemic, and the season resuming seems increasingly unlikely.

The players would "shoot in isolation, presumably in home gyms" according to ESPN. Home gyms and hoops are a relative rarity among NBA players. Stephen Curry doesn't have a home gym; he built an outdoor hoop when the pandemic hit and has been shooting with an outdoor basketball. Giannis Antetokounmpo said he hasn't shot a basketball in weeks because he doesn't have a hoop.

The ESPN announcement said the individual players would be isolated, but it's unclear how it would be filmed or produced safely.
