NBA All-Star Weekend: Lonzo Ball shows support for Kyle Kuzma from home

Lonzo Ball didn’t make the trip out to Charlotte, North Carolina for NBA All-Star Weekend, but he’s still been supportive of his Lakers teammate Kyle Kuzma over the past few days.

During the Rising Stars Game that Ball was supposed to play in on Friday, he shouted out Kuzma on Twitter for his sweet no-look pass to Donovan Mitchell:

He also responded to Kuzma saying he wouldn’t be able to play on the same team as him and his younger brother, LaMelo Ball, because there wouldn’t be enough shots to go around:

Hopefully Ball is back on the court soon so he can continue to set up his brother from another mother for easy baskets.

In the 1,147 minutes Ball and Kuzma have played together this season, they’ve posted an offensive rating of 105.4. The only player that Ball has had more success with this season is LeBron James (105.8).

Kuzma has managed to keep his scoring numbers up while Ball has been sidelined, but there’s no doubt that he’d rather have Ball on the court than on the sidelines.
