

NBA 2K26 update 1.4 is available today on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with the Steam version expected to follow shortly.
According to the developers, this patch is aimed at resolving key issues raised by the community. A more substantial update is also being prepared ahead of Season 2, which will include broader fixes and improvements across multiple areas of the game.
Today’s update does not bring any gameplay adjustments, as the developers continue to track performance across modes and skill levels. Full patch notes are available below.
THE CITY
- Numerous fixes to game stability in The City have been made
- Resolved an issue with matchmaking that prevented locker rooms from properly filling; additional matchmaking improvements and optimizations will be arriving over the next week
- Resolved an issue that could cause outdated Daily Challenges to appear on the tracking list
MyCAREER
- Build Specialization progress has been re-enabled when playing NBA games
