NBA 2K and Visual Concepts will follow the same schedule, as the second season will directly succeed the first one. As of writing on Oct. 15, you still have a few days to complete the Season 1 Pass. NBA 2K26 Season 2 release countdown
The release timing for the new season was confirmed when NBA 2K released the patch notes for update v2.0. The countdown below will expire once the new season is live.
The countdown is set to the following times.
- 8am PT
- 10am CT
- 11am ET
- 3pm UTC
- 4pm BST
- 5pm CEST
The season goes live at the same time on both PC and console, and the Season 2 Pass will be available for all modes.
NBA 2K26 Season 2 Pass rewards
We now have information about the highlight rewards that will be available in Season 2. The rewards will be spread across MyCareer and MyTeam. Here are the highlight items that you can use in MyCareer.

- Level 18: Low Rider Car
- Level 19: ‘Rocky’ - Denver Nuggets Mascot
- Level 24: ‘Too Cold’ Teammote
- Level 32: Vampire Eyes
- Level 33: Hot Streak Facepaint
- Level 35: Tier 1 ‘Max +2’ Badge Perk
- Level 36: Carmelo Anthony T-Shirt
- Level 37: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Backwards Jersey
- Level 39: Blackout Body Mod
- Level 40: +1 Cap Breaker
MyTeam players will be getting plenty of special cards throughout the course of the new season.
- Level 1: Shaedon Sharpe 85 OVR item (can be evolved to 89 OVR)
- Level 7: Cheater Game Changer card x3
- Level 10: Amethyst Goran Dragic
- Level 15: 87+ OVR pack
- Level 20: Amethyst Udonis Haslem
- Level 25: Season
- Level 28: Diamond Coach Erik Spoelstra
- Level 30: Diamond Joe Johnson
- Level 35: Pink Diamond Courtney Vandersloot
- Level 40: Pink Diamond Chris Bosh
If you opt for the paid upgrade, you'll get 40 additional rewards, featuring VC, promo cards, and more. Doing so will cost you upwards of $10. The complete list should be available with the new season when it goes live on Friday.
