2K has finally broken its silence on Season 2 of NBA 2K26. The game was pretty decent at release, but it had gotten quite stale after several weeks, even with the NBA regular season on the horizon. Fans had been requesting new content and information on Season 2. Up until now, 2K had been quiet about the next season, but they recently decided to break the news on their official X page.
As they promised, the trailer for Season 2 of NBA 2K26 just dropped a few hours ago, showcasing what the new season brings to the table. There was also a one-hour stream showcasing the new content. Season 2 is releasing this Friday, October 17th.
You can tune in to drop-enabled streams to earn Locker Codes for various rewards. For one hour of watch time, you get 2X EXP Tokens for MyCAREER and MyTEAM. If you watch for 3 Hours, you get even better rewards. You get MyTEAM Season 1 Super Pack and MyCAREER 10×6 Skill Boosts.
Not only do you get to watch the new season, but you also get rewards for it. It sounds like a sweet deal to me.
What To Expect From NBA 2K26 Season 2?

Apart from the trailer, there hasn’t been any other information about Season 2. However, the trailer does a good job of showcasing the content for Season 2. As expected, most of the content is cosmetics. A lot of earnable rewards for MyTEAM and MyCAREER, along with Pro Pass content. Lastly, there is also a new Park coming to the game.
There could be balance changes and bug fixes as well. But we will only know that once the full patch notes are out. You can watch the 1-hour stream, but that also mainly goes over the new content and not any balance changes.
There are a lot of annoying bugs in the game that need to be straightened out. Fans are also hoping they can finally balance the Fadeaway Three meta that’s been plaguing online play.
We can only really see what Season 2 is all about on Friday. Until then, all we can do is hope that it’s up to our expectations.
