'NBA 2K19' Player Ratings And News: Kawhi Leonard's Render And Rating Revealed

Kawhi Leonard is reportedly warming to playing for the Toronto Raptors during the 2018-19 NBA season after being traded from the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday for DeMar DeRozan, but fans of Drake’s favorite team who play NBA 2K19 need not worry about the All-Star’s willingness to play up north.

Here he is in the new NBA 2K19.

Kawhi Leonard is a member of the Toronto Raptors now…even in NBA 2K.

Leonard checks in with an overall rating of 94, which is down one point from the 95 he had in NBA 2K18. It’s likely attributed to a declined durability rating. Leonard only played nine games last season. He averaged just 16.2 points in those games with a career-low field goal percentage of .468. He also shot a career-low from three-point range (.314) and also saw a decline in his rebounds (4.7) assists (2.3).

Even with the one point decline, Leonard is still far and away going to be the highest-rated Raptor. If he returns to form, there’s no question he’ll regain what he lost in production last year and likely the ratings point he lost in 2K.

He represents an upgrade over DeRozan and will make the Raptors a better team–at least in NBA 2K19. Things are a little more complicated in the real NBA.

NBA 2K19 releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 11 with pre-order customers gaining access on September 7.
