NAVI MUMBAI: Khandeshwar police have registered a theft case against an unidentified accused for stealing cash worth Rs 10 lakh from a parked car by breaking the windowpane; near Neel hospital in New Panvel. Complainant Dilip Patil (45), who resides in Pale Khurd village in Panvel taluka, works as a plant operator in a chemical company in Taloja MIDC.

Recently, after Patil withdrew Rs 10 lakh from an SBI branch at Taloja MIDC, upon returning to his WagonR he found its tyre deflated.
