FaZe Clan’s incredible run through Texas has concluded as NAVI shut swept them 2-0 in the BLAST Rivals Fort Worth semifinals. The Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen-led side dominated the first-three halves of play, before FaZe finally offered some resistance late on Ancient. Unfortunately, the damage had already been dealt and NAVI closed the series to make their third Grand Finals in the past four events.

Dust2 – NAVI roll over FaZe’s defence – 13-5
A solid A-execute saw broky and Aleksib pass like ships through the night in the long-smoke, before NAVI properly burst onto the site, with b1t’s Dualies doing most of the damage. But Neityu kept his head, dropped into elevator and domed b1t to secure the round. NAVI brought rifles out in round four, and makazze simply walked into B tunnels to take down two, shutting down the attack.
FaZe were quick to answer, once again storming the A site for their fourth win, but that would be the last round the team picked up till the end of the half. With w0nderful popping off with his big green, NAVI quickly took the lead, closing the half 7-5.
The pistol round could have been the swing back that FaZe needed, but brilliant shots from w0nderful and Aleksib denied any chance of a comeback. NAVI’s CT side had already been solid, but the gameplan truly paid dividends on the attack as they dismantled FaZe’s defences, closing the map out 13-5.

Ancient – makazze holds off the FaZe comeback – 13-11
FaZe had a great setup to answer NAVI’s B-aggression in the pistol round, but a lack of headshots spelled their doom. makazze, notoriously hard to put away on Ancient, swung into middle and wiped the floor with FaZe’s first rifle round. Despite holding off NAVI in rounds six and seven, a lack of protocols let them back in. And that was all the opening they needed. b1t joined makazze at the top of the scoreboard to batter FaZe across the map, before w0nderful’s AK-47 closed the half in style with an impossible 1v4, making it 9-3.
Switching sides seemingly switched up FaZe’s focus too. A broky pistol clutch sparked the comeback, and Twistzz followed it up with a 1v3 on A to swing the momentum. FaZe took the lead 10-9, but before they could settle, iM turned up the heat from the CTs, finding impactful kills in back-to-back rounds to wrestle Ancient back under NAVI control. Match point soon followed. FaZe pushed things to round 24, but NAVI closed the series out 13-11.
