'Nauseous' Martin Lewis sparks serious health fears from viewers after appearance on Money Show

Martin Lewis has responded to concerns from viewers who raised serious health fears after his appearance on the Money Show on Thursday night and his admission that he was feeling "under the weather."

Just like he has in weeks gone by, TV's best known financial expert was back on ITV live from his home to offer more consumer advice but those tuning in at home were taken aback by how he looked while presenting it, especially after he revealed he was a bit nauseous.

One tweeted: "You are not helping anyone, least of all yourself & family, by making yourself ill. We need you well & capable. Take a break! Recharge batteries!" and another simply reacted: "Hope you’re ok, fella."

Martin addressed concerns on air and during an ad break, when he tweeted: "The problem with having your own live TV show, is when you're feeling under the weather as I am right now (nauseous and weak) show must go on.Let's hope Dr. Showbiz helps.

"At least I'm doing it from home so I can go to bed straight afterwards."

Responding to one viewer who was worried he may have coronavirus, Martin replied: "I hope not too, but I have no fever, no cough and still have my sense of taste, so thankfully I think it's unlikely."

And despite, then telling another fan that he didn't have a temperature, another Twitter user told him: "Urgently test in case. This is the problem most people aren’t that seriously ill. More symptoms can come on later."

Another posted: "I've had it and it started with tiredness, headache, nausea and upset stomach. Then it became a cold after 3 days with a chesty cough. Taste and smell didn't go until around day 10. Hope it's not and that you feel better soon, but would get tested now that you can."
