Natwest online banking down leaving customers unable to access accounts

Customers have been left unable to access their accounts on payday, due to an error related to Natwest's online banking system.

According to website DownDetector - which records website failures - the lender's online banking tool has been down intermittently since 5am.

Customers on social media have also complained that they've been left unable to log in, check their balance or transfer money.

The majority of issues appear to be related to desktop access - with only a small percentage reporting issues with its mobile and app banking tools.

If you are having issues, you can contact Natwest over the phone or visit your local branch (see opening times here).

Mirror Money has contacted Natwest for a status update and will update this page accordingly.
