National Trust want your pictures of Edinburgh's Old and New Town and The Forth Bridge

Budding Edinburgh photographers, this is your chance to have your photos showcased.

In honour of World Heritage Day tomorrow (April 18), The National Trust of Scotland want to see your stunning shots of Scottish heritage sites.

You are well-placed in the capital, since Edinburgh's Old and New Town and The Forth Bridge all have cultural World Heritage status.

So get snapping; from the Forth, to the picturesque cobbled streets of New Town and the Old Town with its haunting closes and wynds, you are spoilt for choice.

How to get involved?

To get involved, all you have to do is:

  • Take a picture of Edinburgh's New Town, Old Twon or The Forth Bridge.
  •
  • Post your photo on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #HelloStKilda.

The National Trust of Scotland Team will pick the best photo from around Scotland and hang it in the Manse on St Kilda.

The photographer with the best photo will also win a National Trust for Scotland membership, which typically costs £5 a month, and gives you a number of benefits, including access to all Trust places.
