National Trust bosses are hiring in Bristol with a £40,000 salary

Boasting some of the most beautiful grounds in the country, who wouldn't want to work at a National Trust site?

And while eagled-eye job hunters might spot the odd role popping up at the charity, a new position with a massive salary has just been advertised in Bristol.

The trust is hoping to employ a food and beverage area manager and will pay £40,071 to the right candidate, reports Gloucestershire Live.

The job advert reads: “This is a hugely exciting time to join the Commercial team at the National Trust; our Food and Beverage business grows year on year and we’re investing in people, facilities and our offer at an unprecedented level.

“As part of this investment we’re expanding our team of Area Managers to make sure that our cafes and property-based teams have the right support to continue to grow to meet our visitors’ demand and generate more money to protect our special places forever, for everyone.”

Based in Bristol, the role would see the successful candidate working at nine sites in and around the city.

Among the many benefits of the position is free entry to all National Trust properties for the individual, a guest and children, as well as discounts in high street stores, cinemas, National Trust shops and cafes.
