The National Television Awards won't be held until September but viewers can already start voting for their favourites to win, including hits like The Pembrokeshire Murders, It's a Sin, White House Farm and Des.
The long-list of nominees is now out and Welsh-made drama, The Pembrokeshire Murders, and its star Luke Evans, are up for an award. Airing in January the three-part drama is nominated alongside Llanharan-filmed Gangs of London and It's a Sin for best drama series.
Evans is a contender for Best Drama Performance as Steve Wilkins, who helped solve the cold case of a double murder in Pembrokeshire in the 1980s. Read more about that drama and who was in it.

Michael Sheen is also nominated in that category for his portrayal of Chris Tarrant in another real-life drama, Quiz, based on the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire cheating scandal. And Olly Alexander is up for his role as Ritchie Tozer in It's a Sin, the runaway success of early 2021. The drama, written by Russell T Davies, charted the lives of a group of LGBT+ friends during the Aids crisis in the 1980s.
Welsh-made Doctor Who see its lead, Jodie Whittaker up for that award, too, as is Dafne Keen and Ruth Wilson from His Dark Materials.
In the comedy category Netflix's Sex Education and Staged, also starring Michael Sheen, are in the running. I'm a Celebrity, which in 2020 was moved to Gwyrch Castle near Abergele due to the pandemic, is nominated for a Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Awards. Other popular shows you can also vote for include Line of Duty, Normal People, Bridgerton and The Crown.

This round of voting closes on Friday, June 4, with the shortlist to be announced in August when the second stage of voting begins ahead of the ceremony on Tuesday, September 9, at The O2 in London.
