National reaction to Eagles signing All-Pro QB Jalen Hurts to a 5-year, $255M contract extension

Howie Roseman wanted to strike first, and he did, signing All-Pro quarterback Jalen Hurts to a five-year, $255 million deal with $179 million guaranteed.

The deal has a no-trade clause for Hurts and allowed Philadelphia to reset the quarterback market ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.
