In a move that can only be described as shocking, the Eagles have moved Sean Desai to another role on the staff, elevating senior assistant Matt Patricia to the role of defensive coordinator.

Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on NFL GameDay Morning that Patricia will be on the sideline calling the plays into the green dot player starting Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks.
Defensive coordinator Sean Desai will move to the coaching booth, where he’d called plays from while DC with the Bears in 2021, per Rapoport.
