Two of the nation’s favourite fast food joints, KFC and Pizza Hut have teamed up to create the pizza of fried chicken-lover’s dreams.
The pizza, called ‘The Gravy Supreme’, has been created to celebrate National Pizza Day (February 9) and includes a base of Pizza Hut’s cheesy bites, covered in KFC’s gravy, popcorn chicken, sweet corn and finished with mozzarella and garlic sprinkles.
But don’t get too excited as the pizza is not yet available to order. The pizza is only being trialled by Pizza Hut Delivery and KFC’s chief innovators.
Yet, if the demand is high enough, it might be available to buy next year.
A spokesperson from KFC UK & Ireland commented: “Dreams really do come true. Pairing our signature gravy and Popcorn Chicken with Pizza Hut’s famous base and toppings is a match made in heaven. Believe us when we say it’s a thing of absolute beauty.”
Seems like 2020 can’t come fast enough.
