'National Jiju' Nick Jonas down with Influenza-A; announces rescheduled concert dates - WATCH

Priyanka Chopra's husband, Nick Jonas, has caught the Influenza-A bug. The singer, who has been on tour, took to his handle on Saturday to alert fans about his heath crisis that has led to him and the Jonas Brothers, postponing their concert dates.

In a social media post, the star addressed his health concerns saying, "Hey everybody, it's Nick here. I have some not-so-fun news to share. A couple of days ago, I started feeling kind of rough, lost my voice when I woke up and grinded that night out."

Curling up in his hoodie, the star star informed fans, "I have come down with the nasty strain of influenza-A that’s been going around, and I’m not able to sing at the moment. We always want to be able to give you guys the best show and I’m just not able to do that for these shows in Mexico at this time."

He further announced the rescheduling of the concerts, which will now take place in Mexico City on August 21 and 22, and Monterrey on August 24 and 25. Expressing his regret for the inconvenience caused, Jonas reassured his fans of delivering an exceptional performance after the three-month delay. He said, "I just need to recover and beat these things. I'm so sorry. I hate disappointing you guys. You do so much to support us. A lot of you have travelled out to be at that show. Just want to say I'm heartbroken over this. Again, I'm really sorry, but I gotta try to beat this thing."

Desi fans took to the comments section to wish their 'National Jiju' a speedy recovery.

In related news, Priyanka has been busy with her shoot commitments. The actress, who has her daughter, Malti Marie keeping her company on the film sets, has been shooting for 'Heads of State' in Europe with her costars Idris Elba and John Cena.
