National Express starts selling tickets again as it plans reopening

National Express has started selling UK coach tickets as it plans to restart services on July 1.

The tickets will be available for a “core coach network”, the bus company said on Friday. It will focus on large and medium-sized towns and cities.

Revenue dropped around 50% in April compared to the same month last year, National Express revealed, as the Government advised Britons to keep away from public transport.

Nevertheless, Ebitda (a measure of earnings before taking into account interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) was positive and slightly ahead of expectations as National Express slashed costs by around £100 million.
