Australian right-back Nathaniel Atkinson has officially completed his move to Hearts after signing a three-and-a-half year deal at Tynecastle.
The Jambos, who currently sit third in the Premiership, had agreed a deal with Melbourne City for the 22-year-old last month.
They had to wait for a British work permit to be granted before the transfer could be formally completed for the Australian youth international, having previously signed Cammy Devlin from Newcastle Jets.
And they used the midfielder to announce the transfer, posting a video with a screenshot of Devlin imploring Atkinson to "just get on a plane" on Instagram.
Now the Tasmanian has officially secured the necessary paperwork and will join up with Robbie Neilson 's side in time for the top flight restarting.
Atkinson told Hearts TV: "It took some time to get it all sorted with visas and such, but It's good to finally be here.
"I first heard about Hearts' interest about a month or two ago. I had gotten to a stage in my career where I was ready to play in Europe, and fortunately Hearts were interested. It was a match made in heaven and things moved pretty quickly after that."
And Atkinson confirmed that linking up with his old pal Devlin was a major factor in drawing him to Gorgie.
The new Hearts signing continued: "I've known Cammy for about three years; first met in the junior Australian camps. We hit it off straight away; he's a bit of a rascal! It'll be good to see him again."
"A lot of Australians have come here, done well and had a great career out of it. I think that's pleasing and reassuring that this was the right move for me."
A number of players from Down Under have played for Jam Tarts, with Patrick Kisnorbo, Dylan McGowan, and Ryan McGowan previously pulling on the maroon shirt.
