Nathan Patterson is to undergo his Everton medical today.
The 20-year-old right-back is moving closer to completing his transfer from Glasgow Rangers.
Patterson's arrival would make him the Blues' second signing of the January transfer window following the capture of Vitaliy Mykolenko from Dynamo Kiev on New Year's Day.

Everton boss Rafa Benitez had made the signing of a right-back one of his January window priorities in order to help offer competition and support for club captain Seamus Coleman.
Patterson was targeted by the Blues in the summer but Rangers rejected the approaches.
But the two clubs have now reached an agreement on the defender's transfer with Everton believed to have struck a deal worth around £10m.
