Nathan Patterson earns Scotland start as Steve Clarke makes six changes to starting XI

Scotland have made six changes ahead of tonight crunch World Cup qualifier against Moldova.

Steve Clarke has named an attacking starting 11 which sees Kevin Nisbet and Lyndon Dykes recalled to the frontline.

The National Team go into tonight's must-win match on the back of Wednesday's disappointing 2-0 defeat to Denmark.

And at home, the Tartan Army will be confident of bouncing back in front of Hampden 's capacity crowd.

With players returning from injury and Covid issues, Clarke has more options than his 18 available in Copenhagen.

His refreshed line-up includes six changes.

Nisbett replaces Che Adams but it looks to be two up top as Dykes also joins the frontline.

And Bournemouth's new signing Ryan Christie comes back into Steve Clarke's side as Ryan Fraser drops out.

Scotland team to face Moldova: Gordon; Robertson; Gilmour; Hanley; Tierney; McGinn; Dykes; Christie; Hendry; Nisbet; Patterson.
