Everton are closing in on a £10million plus swoop for Rangers defender Nathan Patterson.
The Toffees are in advanced talks with the Ibrox side over a January move.
Merseyside sources have stated that Everton are confident of striking a deal for the Scottish international in the coming days.
The Toffees failed in multiple bids in the last window but believe they can now get a deal over the line in this window.
Talks have been on-going but the deal could see Rangers land a significant fee for a player that came through their youth ranks and will also include significant add ons.
Patterson has struggled to get regular game time because of the form of captain James Tavernier.
Everton have already spent big to land Vitaly Mykolenko for £17 million from Dynamo Kiev.
