Nathan Carter shares lockdown songs from Fermanagh home in new Keep 'Er Country episode

A new series of the hit show Keep 'Er Country catches up with some of Ireland's best known country music figures, and takes a look at how they're dealing with life in lockdown.

The new series forms part of BBC Northern Ireland's push for lockdown content, which has seen a range of new shows commissioned to fit the times we're living in.

The first episode of 'Keep 'Er Country At Home' follows Irish country's leading light Nathan Carter, going into his newly purchased Fermanagh home and seeing what he's been up to in recent months.

Nathan takes us inside his music room, where he's been writing and recording some new music, as well as showing audiences his collection of dream cars.

The episode also features Nathan performing some of his most popular songs, as well as a duet with his brother Jack Carter.

The first episode of Keep 'Er Country at home airs on BBC One Northern Ireland tonight, June 12, at 8pm.

Keep 'Er Country at Home forms part of a series of new shows, all featuring local talent, which has been commissioned by BBC NI for the coming months.

There'll also a new cookery programme with BBC One’s Best Home Cook winner Suzie Lee; a new series hearing directly from the Northern Ireland public about what’s happening in their lives; and a new comedy pilot with comedian Paddy Raff.
