Manchester City have agreed a £41million fee with Bournemouth to sign defender Nathan Ake.
It is understood the deal is worth a guaranteed £40million to the relegated Cherries, potentially rising by a further £1million.
Netherlands international Ake has been a standout performer at the Vitality Stadium since joining from Chelsea for around £20million in 2017.
He had previously been on loan with Eddie Howe’s side.
Pep Guardiola is set for a busy summer with Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly another option being strongly considered.
A deal for Valencia winger Ferran Torres is also set to completed as City look to close the gap on champions Liverpool in the Premier League.
