Tottenham were active in the January transfer window, bringing in Gedson Fernandes and Steven Bergwijn.
In the summer, Jose Mourinho will be keen to add permanent signings to supplement his squad.
With several members of the current squad having less-than-certain futures, there will be plenty of incomings and outgoings this summer.
With that in mind, here is a list of five players that Sport Nation are tipping to sign for Tottenham this summer.
Max Aarons, Norwich City - 2/1
Tottenham Hotspur are yet to replace Kieran Trippier since selling him last summer to Atletico Madrid
Similarly, Kyle Walker-Peters was allowed to leave on loan in January, leaving Serge Aurier as Mourinho's only option at right-back.
As a result, Tottenham could try to sign Max Aaron from relegation-threatened Norwich City as cover/competition for Aurier, with reinforcements badly required in that position.
Nathan Ake, Bournemouth - 7/2

Tottenham are keen to address their problems at centre-back with a marquee signing.
Jan Vertonghen is out of contract in the summer and with Toby Alderweireld also ageing, Mourinho is keen to add new blood into his defence.
Nathan Ake could be the perfect addition for Spurs, due to his versatility, age and impressive performance in the Premier League.
Gareth Bale, Real Madrid - 4/1
It wouldn't be a transfer window if Gareth Bale wasn't linked with a return to Tottenham.
That said, the Real Madrid winger is still struggling to build bridges in Spain under Zinedine Zidane.
As a result, his future remains up in the air, although it would take a big financial commitment from Spurs to bring him back to the Premier League.
Dries Mertens, Napoli - 4/1

Dries Mertens was one of the many forwards linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window.
Harry Kane's injury means that a back-up centre-forward will most likely be near the top of Mourinho's shopping list in the summer.
Mertens is out of contract in the summer at Napoli and although he is 32, he could make a fantastic free signing for Spurs.
Willian, Chelsea - 4/1
Surely not?
Willian, who came so close to joining Tottenham all those years ago, is out of contract with Chelsea and is yet to pen a new deal.
Barcelona have also been linked with the wide man, who has worked closely with Mourinho in the past.
Whilst this would be some switch for the Brazilian, never say never.
