Report: Nate Sudfeld expected to miss 6 weeks after wrist surgery

The Philadelphia Eagles received some good news today when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld will only miss six weeks with a broken left wrist. Sudfeld had surgery on Friday morning after breaking his wrist on an awkward fall against the Titans.

The six-week timetable means Sudfeld could return for the Eagles’ Week 3 home game against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 22.
