Nate Diaz sends “real fighter” message to Paul “sisters” after Tyron Woodley KO

Nate Diaz claims the Paul brothers hired a security team to keep the UFC star away from them at the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley event last weekend.

Paul brutally knocked out former UFC champion Woodley at the event to remain undefeated in the ring and pick up his fifth win.

UFC stars Diaz and Jorge Masvidal - who have both been called out previously by Paul - were in attendance at the event.

But the pair left before Paul's fight with Woodley, which led to the 24-year-old calling them out after his win.

"Masvidal and Nate Diaz, y'all are some b****** for leaving this arena, cause I know you don't want that s***," he said.

"I'll take out both of y'all next, just get out of your contract with daddy Dana and I'm a f*** them up too,

And in a surprising response, Diaz played down Paul's comments by asking to be friends with the Paul brothers.

"The Paul sisters hired this security team to make sure I wouldn’t get to them, like I was actually trying too, but it’s all good with u guys," he wrote.

"I don’t take this fight thang with u2 serious. you guys playing boxing with wrestlers who can’t box or lil ass Floyd and that’s not cool bruh but it’s good"

"I’m a real fighter from the real fight game so don’t trip so hard when you see me fellas let’s just be friends it’s good."

Diaz also made headlines at the event for pretending to punch a bare-knuckle fighter whilst he was off guard, sending his beer flying through the air.

It was later revealed the fighter was a teammate of Bellator champion AJ McKee, who clashed with Diaz and his team at the weigh-ins for the event.

Diaz - who has been linked to a fight with Dustin Poirier for early next year - has never fought professionally in the ring.

Paul pleaded with UFC president Dana White to allow Conor McGregor, Masvidal or Diaz to be granted an exemption to face him in the ring.

UFC fighters are not allowed to compete for other promotions whilst under contract, with only McGregor receiving a one-off exemption to box Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

"Dana, I just knocked out a five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company," Paul said after the fight.

"Please, please let me get Kamaru Usman, let me get Diaz, let me get Masvidal, let me get McGregor because I'm going to embarrass them too.

"I promise you that, Dana, I promise you that."
