Nate Diaz's blunt reaction to Jake Paul's win over Tyron Woodley

Nate Diaz has offered a typically blunt reaction to Jake Paul's clash with Tyron Woodley, claiming they both "suck".

Paul defeated Woodley via split-decision in his fifth professional fight in Cleveland, which provided the sternest test of his career as he was knocked on to the ropes despite largely dominating the clash.

And the 24-year-old has received mixed reviews from fighters in both sports since his victory, including current UFC star Conor McGregor who tweeted "salivating" after the result.

But Diaz who was named on Paul's 'hit-list', has reacted bluntly by posting on his Twitter account: "These guys both suck."

The American UFC star has previously branded the YouTuber and his brother Logan Paul "the Paul sisters" as he has criticised their involvement in the fighting ranks.

Paul immediately responded to Diaz's tweets at the post-fight press conference: “Another loser, talking up, of course, he wants a payday. I’m one of the money fighters now in boxing.

"The guy’s got a chin, but he doesn’t land punches, right? So that fight’s there, no problem. Thank you for the attention. Thank you for watching me. I appreciate it, fanboy.”

And the YouTuber revealed that he found Woodley the "toughest" challenge of his career yet, and offered him a rematch providing he gets the tattoo inked on his body from their previous "bet".

"I don't know what to say, but he's a tough opponent," Paul said. "He's been boxing, fighting, striking for a number of years, I've been doing this for three years, this one was for Cleveland.

"My legs felt weird from when we walked out, I don't know what was wrong with me. That split decision was bulls***, especially in my hometown, where's that judge at?

"I got eight rounds under my belt, who's doing that in their fourth pro fight? I've been boxing for 18 months, I haven't been to the dentist, my teeth are crooked, my nose is crooked, I need to take some time.

"I'm only 24-years-old, I need to find out who I am, I'm changing a lot."

On the undercard, British light-heavyweight Tommy Fury recorded a decision victory over Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor as he searched for a follow-up fight with the YouTuber.

And he called for the 24-year-old in his next bout in a heated altercation after the event, where he branded Paul "not a real fighter" after being crowded away by security.

"It just transpired about ten minutes ago," Fury told reporters at the post-fight press conference. "I was doing an interview and his whole team landed.

"Jake Paul's squaring up to me, the whole thing but he's seen me at ringside leaning over the ropes waiting to get in there and there's Logan saying, 'not right now'.

"They ain't fighters, I've said this from word one, if you want the fight I'm here and I'm ready to go, no running and no playing and it's fine if you don't want the fight just say it.

"I've done my part, he did his part. Why not make the fight next? It's on the tip of everyone's tongues."
