Nate Diaz demands Logan Paul has his "a** beat" for ranting at Tommy Fury

Nate Diaz hit out at "obnoxious" Logan Paul for his mid-fight rant during hid brother Jake's fight with Tommy Fury.

YouTube star Jake Paul fought his bitter rival Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia as he looked to extend his unbeaten run in the boxing ring in the hardest test of his career. But despite a final-round knockdown, Pau l was unable to have his hand raised and fell short with judges, handing the win to Fury on a split-decision.

The fight was not without drama, with Paul's brother Logan given the spotlight midway through the fight where he was asked to assess the showdown at that point. He furiously shouted into the microphone: " Tommy Fury if you can hear me, you're a b****, you're gassing out."

British broadcaster BT Sport were forced to issue an apology on the screen, with the incident drawing widespread criticism online after the show. This included from former UFC fighter Diaz who fumed at the other Paul sibling, tweeting: This guy needs his a** beat. And who let the spoiled little b***h yell obnoxious s*** during the fight?"

Diaz has found himself at the heart of a war of words with Paul ahead of the showdown and it looked as if he would likely be the next opponent for Logan's brother. However with Paul losing his first fight, combined with the opportunity to activate an immediate rematch clause, it appears the fight may now be shelved.

The fight looked more likely than ever given Diaz h as now turned his back on the UFC following the expiration of his deal after months of waiting. Paul then recently offered the Stockton native a two-fight deal as part of his plan to compete in MMA after signing a new deal with PFL.

However this could all be significantly derailed as a result of his latest win with Paul confirming after the event that he intends to pursue revenge later this year in a second meeting with Fury. He said at the post-fight press conference: “I’m gonna go back for this rematch, I just talked to Tommy in the medical room and he’s like let’s go, let’s do it again. He’s down for it, so I think that’ll be the focus first and foremost.

"I’m going to prove I can go and fight a better fight than I did tonight and get that W. I do think the rematch is huge. Congratulations to Tommy man seriously, he is a great and powerful fighter. He showed a lot of heart tonight, and I feel this was one of the first times he was tested in a fight. We did big business and for that reason the rematch is going to be even bigger."
