Nate Diaz calls Anthony Pettis ‘the Wheaties box guy’ before UFC 241 and fans love it

Nate Diaz makes his long-awaited return to the Octagon this Saturday when he takes on Anthony “Showtime” Pettis in the co-main event at UFC 241 in Anaheim.

It’s been nearly three years since Diaz’s last fight, which was a close loss via decision in his second fight against Conor McGregor.

While I’m guessing Diaz won’t have any type of “ring rust,” as he’s been training basically every day of his life, he also hasn’t lost anything when it comes to breaking down an opponent before a fight.

He showed that in the UFC 241 Countdown video, which was released on Sunday, as he labeled Pettis “the Wheaties box guy” when talking about how he has wanted to fight Pettis ever since he got put on a Wheaties box back in 2014 when he was the UFC lightweight champ.
