New England Patriots receiver Josh Gordon is making yet another comeback, and NFL Network’s Nate Burleson is a big fan.
Gordon has rejoined the Patriots after serving another installment of his indefinite suspension which has lasted for most of the last four years.
In 2018, Gordon managed to play 13 games (one with the Browns and 12 with the Patriots) when he logged 41 receptions for 737 yards and four touchdowns. At 18 yards per reception, Gordon was making a tremendous impact in New England’s offense. When he returned to his suspension in December 2018, the Patriots felt his absence, even if they managed to win Super Bowl LIII.
During an episode of NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football,” Burleson broke down just how impactful Gordon can be in the 2019 season.
