Natasha Kaplinsky felt she 'let down' husband Justin after devastating miscarriages

Channel 5's Miscarriage: Our Story has been lauded by fans and branded "eye-opening."

The programme saw celebrities including news anchor Natasha Kaplinsky and actress Lacey Turner open up about their own miscarriage heart-breaks.

And Natasha tonight told that she felt she had "let down" husband Justin Bower follwowing her multiple miscarriages.

The couple now share daughter Angelica and son Arlo, but they have also suffered the devastation of multiple miscarriages.

Natasha told: "I just felt like I was letting Justin down, more than anything.

"That's the thing that made me so upset. I felt like I could cope with my own disappointment, but I just couldn't bare to take that joy away from him.

"So that was especially hard, just that sense of being a barren woman, that's what haunted me, that I was never going to be able to make him a father.

"It broke my heart."

The show has been heaped with praise by fans, who took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Natasha opened up on the show, which has been branded 'eye-opening' (Channel 5)

"God this is emotional. #miscarriageourstory #channel5," one remarked.

Another tweeted: "The realities of a miscarriage, I had no idea #MiscarriageOurStory."

A third penned: "Its so good to not feel so alone,although its dreadful that other people have had to go through this too. Thankyou to everyone telling their story. Its so important #miscarriageourstory #Miscarriageawareness."

A fifth added: "Already such a powerful programme. Thank you to those who have shared their stories."

EastEnders actress Lacey recalled during the programme: "I felt so lonely and I didn't speak about it…what we should have done was talked to each other, but because we didn't it actually made both of us really lonely."
