Natalie Sciver hits century as England beat Pakistan and wrap up ODI series win

Natalie Sciver's century powered England to a series-securing victory over Pakistan in Kuala Lumpur.

After hundreds from their openers in the first game, both Danni Wyatt and Tammy Beaumont were unable to make big scores in the second ODI, with the strongest contributions coming from lower down the order.

Sciver made her third ODI century, including partnerships of 84 with captain Heather Knight (86) and an unbeaten 146 with Fran Wilson (85 not out).

Sciver reached her hundred off the penultimate ball of the innings and hit 12 fours in her 85-ball knock.

That gave England a total of 327 to defend, which they did with ease, bowling Pakistan out for 200 inside 45 overs.

The three spinners, Sarah Glenn, Sophie Ecclestone and Knight, took two wickets apiece, while there were also two wickets for Anya Shrubsole.

Glenn, who made her debut on Monday, continued her impressive start to life in international cricket.

Again, Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof led a lonely resistance with the only half-century of the innings.

There is one more ODI, on Saturday, before three T20s next week.
