Haqparast on the post-fight emotions

“Of course it feels great, you know, but this is what we were working hard for and it’s not a big surprise – all that I did was every day train this. It’s good but the journey continues.”

Haqparast on defeating an opponent like Silva

“I actually feel really good because, he’s an experienced guy. He has finishes in UFC. He’s 4-1 in UFC. It’s good, it’s good. The best feeling is I’ve got a lot of friends, my brothers, everyone is here – (Georges St-Pierre) in my corner, my brother my translator, so it was kind of funny and nice.”

Haqparast on what he wants next

“I don’t call out any names, just bring whoever.”
