Nashville shooter Audrey Hale's art was 'childlike' and she 'could have done kids' books'

Evil Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale could have been a children's illustrator as their artwork was "whimsical" and "childlike", a former teacher has claimed.

Maria Colomy confirmed she taught the student at the Nossi College of Art and Design in Nashville, US, for two terms in 2017.

She recalls during one of Hale's first introductions to the course, the pupil was told to set up a password on the computer.

However, she became increasingly frustrated after failing to do so and stormed out the classroom, according to the teacher.

Ms Colomy said it was the only time Hale had left the classroom in anger - as she claimed the student was "small and quiet."

She also described the shooter's work as “whimsical” and “childlike” and believes Hale could have been a children's illustrator.

Ms Colomy revealed: "I could have seen (Hale) doing children’s books for a living."

The teacher followed Hale on Facebook which is where she was grieving the death of her former girls' basketball teammate Sydney Sims.

Sydney, 27, tragically died in a car crash last August with Hales attending the funeral of her former friend.

The 28-year-old was reportedly struggling to come to terms with her death.

Ms Colomy said the only thing she would see on her Facebook feed from Hale was Sydney's posts.

She added: “The only thing I would see (Hale) post would be about this girl.”

According to the teacher, the time she was mourning the girls death Hale had told Facebook friends of a desire to use he/him pronouns along with the name Aiden.

Her former teacher said it was obvious Hale was struggling, she said: “From what I saw on (Hale’s) social, (Hale) was suffering."

However, Sidney's sister Taylor, 28, has hit back at suggestions, taking to her Instagram page to stress her sister's death had nothing to do with the shooting.

She posted: "Please don’t attach such a nasty, disgusting tragedy to my sister’s name. This is very sick and just goes to show people talk. Please leave my sister out of it."

On her Instagram post, she went on: "Truth is none of us know why she did that. Nothing about what she [Hale] has done is Ok, we’ve not had any contact with that girl for years due to other things.

"We all played middle school basketball together. That’s it and that is all. Granted everyone was welcomed to my sister’s funeral and that’s when we saw her for the first time in a while.

"She then popped up uninvited to my sister’s painting that my mom held a few weeks ago (odd) and still don’t know how she found out. So with all due respect don’t attach my family, especially my sister, to this mess."
