NASCAR paint scheme will feature Dolly Parton’s face on the hood at Bristol

One car at Bristol Motor Speedway will be impossible to miss — for better or worse.

Tyler Reddick’s car for the second-tier XFINITY Series race Saturday is bright pink and white and will feature Dolly Parton’s face on the hood. Sponsored by all things Dollywood, including her company Dolly Records, the car is officially called the No. 2 Dolly Parton Chevrolet, and Reddick will drive it this weekend for Richard Childress Racing at the .533-mile track for the Alsco 300.

It is loud and will definitely stand out among the traditional primary color paint schemes in NASCAR.

“It’s an honor to represent Dolly Parton and her variety of businesses on our No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway,” said Reddick, via rcrracing.com.

“Dolly is an icon and has had a lot of success in her career, which is something I admire while trying to build my own success in NASCAR,” Reddick continued. “Hopefully, we can take Dolly and the No. 2 Camaro to Victory Lane this weekend in her home state of Tennessee. I think that would be really special for everyone who is a fan of hers.”

This is an awfully unique looking car, and many of the reactions in the NASCAR community were positive.

Reddick’s car, however, isn’t the first time we’ve seen someone’s face on a hood this season. At the Daytona 500 back in February, Corey LaJoie’s No. 32 Ford featured his own face, which remains the most epic face on the hood of a car this year.
