NASCAR 25 was recently released a week ago, and its release was accompanied by high expectations. Whether or not those expectations were met is yet to be seen; however, it is important to talk about the release itself. With the game having two editions (Gold and Standard) and a Season Pass, these are all features you have to consider before purchasing the game.
So to make things easy, today we’ll be explaining the different editions of NASCAR 25 with a prime focus on the Season Pass. This should help streamline your decision-making process and give you some clarity on whether or not it’s worth it for you.
NASCAR 25: Gold Vs Standard Edition

First things first, what bundles is the game available in? Those would be the Gold and Standard Edition bundle. The Gold bundle is priced at $79.99, while the Standard edition bundle is priced at $59.99. There were some pre-order bonuses associated with both bundles, but unfortunately, the time duration has passed for those, so we won’t be mentioning them.
Now, what do you get in each bundle? Simply put, the only difference between the Gold and Standard edition bundles is the Season Pass itself. The Gold edition comes with the Season Pass included, while the Standard edition does not. You can buy it later on if you’re not willing to drop an extra $20; however, the Season Pass is $24.99 on its own, so you’ll be paying $4.99 extra.
We’ll briefly go over the pre-order bonuses as well, in case anyone was interested:
- 72-hour early access
- 5,000 career bonus dollars
- 500 career rep points
- 3 additional paint schemes (cover drivers)
Except for the 72-hour early access, these rewards were included for both Gold and Standard edition purchases.
What Is NASCAR 25’s Season Pass?
It’s now time to move on to the main topic, NASCAR 25’s Season Pass. The Season Pass will cost $24.99 at launch and comes with the following perks:
- VIP Employees
- 10,000 Career Bonus Dollars
- 1,000 Rep Points
- 3 DLC Packs featuring 230+ paint schemes and firesuits
At a glance, anyone can see how beneficial getting the Season Pass would be. The extra career bonus, alongside free rep points to get started, will streamline your progress significantly. Not to mention the VIP employee benefits.
If you’re a true NASCAR fan, you won’t want to miss out on the additional DLC paint schemes and firesuits either. These might not be available for a long time, so get them while you can. They might just be cosmetic, but they’ll help you drive around in style.
I’d definitely recommend getting the Gold edition bundle for the game if you haven’t already, especially if you plan to get the Season Pass down the line. Having to spend an extra $4.99 isn’t a major purchase, but it is still a waste if you can avoid it. The Season Pass will heavily influence your progress in the game, and help you get ahead of the curve early.
