iRacing shared last month that a new NASCAR 25 patch was coming in January, and it now appears that update is set to arrive tomorrow, January 21, around noon EST.
The update adds Portland International Raceway as a free track across all platforms, with support in Quick Race and Online modes for the NASCAR Xfinity/ARCA Series. Sonoma Raceway is also getting a refresh, including updated racing surfaces and visuals built on the recent ground up rebuild of the circuit.
Car customization options are expanding, giving players more flexibility when setting up online cars, including the ability to choose their own car numbers. That said, an official X post mentions additional car numbers being added to the paint kit, which has led to some confusion about how far that customization goes.
The patch also includes improvements to bump drafting in multiplayer races, new user generated content moderation tools that allow players to block and report paint schemes. Support for sharing shapes is planned to arrive soon, but a date hasn’t been revealed just yet.
