NASCAR 25 Has Revealed Its Driver Ratings

NASCAR 25, marketed to be the most realistic NASCAR game to date, is coming close to its release. Up until now, we have been pretty much left in the dark about what the game will be. We have a surface-level idea about what the game contains, but apart from that, nothing has been revealed.

But, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore as iRacing Studios just revealed the driver ratings of the game, showing us where our favorite NASCAR racers stand when it comes to pure skill.

The ratings are based on a driver’s experience on different types of tracks. Currently, drivers are rated on Overall, Superspeedways, Speedways, Intermediates, Short Intermediates, Concrete, and Road Courses. Here are the current driver ratings, as well as what the different track types mean.

NASCAR 25: Driver Ratings

As I mentioned previously, drivers are rated on their skills across different track types. Here is what each means.

• Overall: Represents a driver’s total skill rating across all track types. It’s the main number shown in the game and reflects their overall consistency, speed, and performance.
• Superspeedways: Large, high-speed ovals such as Daytona and Talladega. 
• Speedways: Medium-to-large oval tracks (around 1–1.5 miles) like Kansas, Michigan, or Las Vegas. 
• Intermediates: Tracks that mix speed and handling challenges, such as Charlotte or Texas. 
• Short Intermediates: Smaller ovals like Phoenix or Gateway. 
• Concrete Tracks: Circuits with concrete surfaces, such as Bristol and Dover. Concrete offers different grip characteristics than asphalt, so strong performers here are adept at managing traction and car stability.
• Road Courses: Non-oval tracks with both left and right turns, like Watkins Glen, Sonoma, and Circuit of the Americas.

Drivers with a high rating in a certain track type mean they are better at that track than others. Overall basically defines how good a driver is across all tracks.
