The drug trafficking drama Narcos: Mexico is returning for its third and final season.
The trailer for the new Netflix series shows that this season could be the most event-filled and violent yet, with planes being downed, gun battles in the streets and adrenaline-fuelled police drug busts.
Since first airing in 2018, the show has garnered a loyal fan base and currently has an IMDB rating of 8.4/10 and a Rotten Tomatoes score of 85%.

With Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) finally behind bars for the murder of DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena (Michael Peña), it seems everything is up for grabs in the show's final season.

What can we expect from Narcos: Mexico Season 3?
Simply put, chaos seems to be what we can expect from the final series. As the trailer tells us, we are heading into the 1990s and "the world is changing" for the drug traffickers.
Former showrunner (and executive producer) Eric Newman told Collider : "It's very much an acceleration into chaos, but we're still in the early days of it. Félix Gallardo going to jail, and the splintering of this thing he had built into these fiefdoms, was the beginning of the first incredibly violent chapter of the drug war.
"[We're] heading into the '90s, where it gets really ugly, because that thing that held everybody together, which was Félix Gallardo and his dream, is gone, and so the killing starts."
Who is in the cast of Narcos: Mexico Season 3?
Sadly, Diego Luna will not be returning for the show's third series. However, many familiar actors and characters will be back including:

Some of the new cast members joining the show include Luis Gerardo Méndez, Alberto Guerra, Luisa Rubino and Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny).
What is the Narcos: Mexico Season 3 release date?
The show is coming to Netflix early next month, with ten new episodes being released on Friday, November 5.
